The starting point of this private residence was its surrounding: the tall trees in the garden and Nõmme’s characteristic central planning of a garden suburb. The residence develops along the cardinal directions between trees, involving the whole site under its influence.

Round, smooth, reflective surfaces hide the boundaries between house and nature. On the one hand, reflections amplify the nature and in a way camouflage the building amid trees. On the other hand, the sinuous form of the design fluently preserves privacy and domestic atmosphere of the building.
