Salto didn’t only want to erect a single object, but to include the whole environment into the architecture. Instead of focusing on a one single typology, the building is growing out from a certain situation. It is not just a three-dimensional version of a given spacial program surrounded by walls but the design takes a solid steady position in its context and consciously effects it.
